We're outside a lot!! We have learned a few things...at 5200 feet above sea level, and without a protective layer of smog, the sun is really intense here. So, the boys have an impressive collection of hats and they spend most of their days filthy. The picture to your right was taken after a trip to Montezuma's Well and a trip to Montezuma's castle. They thought that they could fool ALL of you (they are really standing up and leaning against a wall...they're very clever) into thinking they had just fallen asleep on some cobblesone path.
We have been camping for the last three weekends. First we went to White Horse Lake, a great fishing spot outside of Williams (which is outside of Flagstaff). Gorgeous trees, gorgeous sandy beaches, great weekend. We also like to camp two miles away on our friend's (the Stine's) property, especially convenient because the tent trailer is parked there. Ike, Dallin, Stacy Stine, Wesley Stine, and the Sears hiked over the hill and the rest of us met them at a little lakeside cafe that serves up amazing German food. The hikers were a little late because they stumbled into some barriers that had been set up to detour hikers away from the Bald Eagle nesting sites..."stupid eagles."
