Ike turns 34!!! Yeah! And yes, he just got back from "the course."
Dallin, Brick and Ty looking pretty snazzy in anticipation of the Primary Program
Halloween...Ty, while he had another costume that I MADE...opts to be a "pioneer" for the third year in a row. Now, I thought I was supposed to make a costume for a muskateer, but he holds up his sword and pronounces himself a pioneer every time.
Dallin looking very serious as he leads the flag ceremony (he was flanked by cub scouts who are not in the picture...sorry, Brick) at his school for the Elementary School production about liberty, freedom, patriotism. They send invitations to all the retirement homes inviting veterans and then to everybody they could think of who had served in the military and lived in Prescott...there were 160 who showed up and everybody stood at attention as they played each military branch's theme song and the kids passed out presents to all of the people in appreciation...I love living in a Red State.
I haven't posted in a long time. There are several reasons for this (one might be laziness) but the reason I am going to blame is my camera. We went camping, I put it in my jacket, I washed the jacket...the camera didn't like it. I removed the camera from the jacket, removed the memory card from the camera, sent it to Canon, read my scriptures, fasted, prayed...phew, it worked.
I got the camera back, re-inserted the memory card, and prayed...the memory card didn't mind the wash...I took some pictures and went to up-load or download or whatever it is to the computer and (after two months of ignoring it) couldn't find my USB cable. I couldn't imagine where it could possibly be? It belongs tangled up somewhere around my moniter...stupid kids.
It dawned on my (inspiration!) that perhaps I had neatly placed the USB cable in the box the camera had come in, the same place I had stored the memory card while the camera was at the hospital...brilliant...too organized for my own good.
