This is him, Dieter-Heinz Kijora, the guy Heather is marrying. He is 24 years old, grew up in La Jolla, two years ahead of her in school, and enjoys golf, racing, off-roading, motorcycles, Prescott, Az, long walks in the rain, and (thankfully) us.
We got the news that she accepted his proposal on New Year's Day while hanging out in the snow with the York's and are all pretty excited...well...some of us:
Jessica: Ty, Heather is going to marry Dieter!!!
Ty: Nnnnooooo!!!! (bursts into tears)
Jessica: You like Dieter.
Ty: But its Heather and Holly not Heather and Dieter!!
The kids makes a point.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I only have so many minutes in the day to do this stuff and the blog has been neglected because of Facebook. I found a group called "Growing up in Santa Rosa, CA in the '80's" and got distracted.
